If you are an international student applying for a skilled migration to New Zealand, you need to understand the relevant issues of the skilled migration EOI application.
Take a look at the New Zealand Skilled Migration EOI application process and scoring requirements.
Students are required to make a self-assessment before they decide to submit their EOI. Although the basic score prescribed by the Immigration Office is 100 Points, at present, only those with more than 160 points are eligible to be invited.
If the self-assessment meets the requirements, then the EOI can be formally submitted to the immigration office.
Generally through the online submission, you need to register an account first, after submission login account center can check the hearing status.
New Zealand EOI will be selected once every two weeks. Applicants with more than 160 points will be automatically selected. Applicants with 100-155 points will be selected according to their scores, and those who are not selected will remain in the Eoi Pool (candidate pool) for the next round of opportunities.
If the applicant is not selected within 6 months, the application will be automatically cancelled and the applicant will have to submit a new EOI application again, which will require a new payment.
Step 3:
The Immigration Bureau selects EOI according to the set criteria. Meanwhile, the Immigration Bureau will arrange Eoi officers of relevant branches according to the geographical location of the applicant to carry out investigation, mainly investigating whether the applicant’s situation is real or not. After the examination, the applicant will be sent to the ITA.
At this point, your application status will become DS.
If you receive the Invitation via Email or Post, you have met the requirements of the New Zealand Skilled Migration Policy and the applicant will proceed To the formal process of skilled migration.
The ITA invitation letter is usually valid for 4 months, so it is important to collect and submit the formal immigration application forms and relevant materials as required by the ITA within 4 months.
If you do not submit your EOI after 4 months, the ITA will automatically expire and you will need to re-submit your EOI for inclusion.
