DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become one of the world’s top tourist destinations. It offers lots of fun activities for people to enjoy their time.
The Gulf country gives visit visas to foreign nationals, including Pakistanis. These visas have different stay lengths. Foreigners can get a single – visit entry visa for tourism. They can stay for 30 or 60 days.
The sponsor or host in the UAE must be a business in the tourism field. The applicant has to pay a set fee and give a financial security deposit to get the visa.
Usually, tourists who want to visit the UAE need a sponsor there to apply for the visit visa. The sponsor can be a person, a company, or a hotel.
UAE 30 – day Visit Visa Requirements
- One personal photo.
- A copy of the passport.
- For some nationalities (like Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan), an identity card from their home country.
- Medical insurance that’s valid in the UAE.
- A travel ticket to continue their journey or a ticket to leave the UAE.
- Hotel reservation or details about where they’ll be staying.

For Pakistanis, the cost of a 30 – day tourist visa is AED 200. Plus, a 5% value – added tax is charged.
If the sponsored person is already in the UAE, there are additional fees:
- Knowledge dirham: AED 10.
- Innovation Dirham: AED 10.
- Fee inside UAE: 500 dirhams.
Note: The total amount can change. The visa fee might go up or down depending on the situation of the sponsored person or for other reasons. The fee is the same for other nationalities too.
