Arcadia University in Glenside will send nearly 300 first-year and transfer students on its annual “Preview the World” study abroad program, which offers a unique international experience during spring break.
The two-credit course allows students to spend a week abroad, immersing themselves in the culture and history of various countries. From March 6 to 16, students will visit 11 locations across nine countries, including Amsterdam, Netherlands; Athens, Greece; Bali, Indonesia; Dublin, Ireland; Edinburgh, Scotland; Florence, Italy; Glasgow, Scotland; London, England; Paris, France; San José, Costa Rica; and Sicily, Italy. During their stay, they will study cultural and historical topics specific to each destination.
Since its launch in 1994, Arcadia’s Preview the World program has taken over 7,500 students to 30 countries, including Cuba, India, Chile, England, France, and South Korea. Students have explored a wide range of subjects, from music and fashion to art, literature, history, politics, and more.
