Excelia Tourism School in France has announced the launch of its Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality program in Paris for the 2025 academic year. The school will offer a structured approach to undergraduate and postgraduate programs under two main categories.
The first category, “Hospitality-Events,” will focus on hospitality, restaurants, and event management, including hotels and events. The second category, “Tourism,” will cover courses related to tourism management. This shift aims to strengthen the school’s position in the hospitality industry.
Additionally, Excelia Tourism School is introducing several new MSc programs and expanding specializations across its undergraduate offerings.
Richard Ginioux, Dean of Excelia Tourism School, explained, “We’ve structured Excelia Tourism School’s offerings into two distinct branches to reflect how industry professionals and the public view the various sectors: hotels-restaurants-events on one hand, and tourism-travel-destinations on the other. To expand our curriculum, we are already developing two more tracks: one focused on culinary arts, and the other on wines and spirits.”
Excelia Tourism School: Key Updates
Starting in 2025, Excelia will offer a new curriculum aimed at training students for managerial roles in the catering, tourism, events, and hospitality sectors. Students can specialize in either tourism management or hotel and event management. Core course modules will be shared, and students will have the option to transfer between specializations.
In addition to its campuses in La Rochelle and Tours, Excelia will offer the Bachelor program in hospitality at its Paris campus beginning in 2025. A new international work placement opportunity has been introduced for Year 2 students, allowing them to gain hands-on experience.
The school also offers four international partnerships, giving students the chance to earn a double qualification by studying for one year in Germany, Finland, Latvia, or Thailand. All programs will be taught in English or a bilingual English-French format.
