Newcastle University has introduced the India Leadership and Innovation Scholarship for the 2025 academic year, aimed at supporting Indian students. This scholarship will cover full tuition fees for a one-year master’s program at the university’s city-centre campus in Newcastle. A total of 10 scholarships are available for courses starting in September 2025, offering a valuable opportunity for Indian students to advance their education.
The scholarship targets students who have demonstrated leadership and creativity in extracurricular activities, student organizations, athletics, community service, or professional pursuits. Selection will be based on both academic achievements and the quality of the application.
The award covers 100% of tuition fees for the entire duration of the one-year master’s program. The application deadline is June 5, and successful applicants will be exempt from tuition fees throughout the course.
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- The scholarship is open to international students applying for full-time, one-year master’s programs.
- Applicants must be domiciled in India.
- Candidates must be assessed as international for fee purposes.
- Applicants must hold an offer for an eligible, full-time, one-year master’s degree program at the Newcastle city-centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year.
- Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, the equivalent of a first-class UK honours degree.
