The University of Canterbury (UC) has announced the extension of its MBA Leaders Scholarship for another four years, lasting until 2030. The renewed scholarship now includes international opportunities, offering scholars a chance to gain global insights into leadership and innovation.
Scholars will have the opportunity to collaborate with prestigious institutions such as Stanford University in the United States and Aalto University in Finland. They will be able to participate in programs like Stanford’s well-known Design Thinking course, which will help them build international networks, exchange knowledge, and develop leadership skills.
The scholarship includes:
A significant reduction in UC MBA course fees
An international experience grant for global learning opportunities
An Outward Bound Courage in Leadership course
One-on-one mentoring with a New Zealand business leader
Launched in 2021, the Gough Family Foundation MBA Leaders Scholarship has supported numerous individuals. Each year, three scholarships are awarded to outstanding candidates enrolled in UC’s MBA programme at Te Kura Umanga at UC Business School.
Recipients are selected based on their leadership potential, character, business acumen, and dedication to making a positive impact.
