The University of Cumbria has formed a new partnership with Malvern International to establish the University of Cumbria International College (UCIC). This collaboration is part of the university’s broader “Towards 2030″ strategy and will span the next 10 years.
Claire Aindow, the University of Cumbria’s pro vice chancellor for growth and development, expressed excitement about the partnership. She highlighted the significant role international students play in enriching the university community, noting that their diversity enhances the experience for both students and staff. Aindow also emphasized the global reach of the university, which has a strong presence in over 100 countries, with graduates contributing to communities worldwide.
“The International College will help support our students in developing global awareness and networks, benefiting their education and careers,” Aindow said.
Richard Mace, CEO of Malvern International, also shared his enthusiasm for the partnership. “We are thrilled to work with the University of Cumbria to support its ambitious goals,” he stated. “This partnership will open transformative opportunities for students and strengthen the university’s global impact through Malvern’s extensive network.”
