UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Education Abroad, in partnership with Undergraduate Research and Fellowships Mentoring (URFM), is hosting information sessions on the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to help students with financial needs study abroad. The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman program is currently accepting applications for students of limited financial means who plan to study abroad. The application deadline is March 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST.
The information sessions will educate students about the scholarship and provide advice on the application process. Penn State will hold a Gilman Scholarship Information Session on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 4:30 p.m. Additionally, they will hold sessions on “10 Things That Will Ensure a Competitive Gilman Application” on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at noon and Thursday, Feb. 13, at 4 p.m.
