President-elect Donald Trump is expected to issue up to 100 executive orders shortly after being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. His first actions will focus on key priorities, including border security, energy policy, and government reform, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Stephen Miller, Trump’s incoming White House deputy chief of staff for policy, briefed several Republican leaders on Sunday afternoon about the administration’s plans. These include declaring a national emergency on the U.S.-Mexico border, overturning diversity, equity, and inclusion directives from the Biden administration, and rolling back restrictions on offshore drilling and federal land drilling imposed by Biden.
Bloomberg sources say Trump plans to use emergency powers to boost domestic energy production as part of his strategy.
