Balochistan students are aware of the valuable opportunities that scholarships in countries like Turkey, the UK, and the USA provide. These programs enable students to study abroad, offering them access to top-tier education and exposure to different cultures. However, Pakistan does not offer similar opportunities for foreign students to study in the country.
Students in Balochistan are eager to access quality education but face significant challenges. For many, libraries are the only places where they can study independently. Despite their determination, they lack the resources and opportunities available in other countries.
Pakistan is one of the few nations that does not offer scholarships for foreign students, missing an important chance to build international academic partnerships. This lack of investment in education is a critical issue. Countries that prioritize education not only strengthen their own workforce but also attract global talent, fostering a valuable exchange of knowledge and ideas.
I urge Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to introduce scholarship programs and recognize education as a vital national asset.
