Rabat – The Arts et Métiers Campus in Rabat has received official recognition from the Moroccan government, marking a significant achievement for the institution.
The campus, established through a partnership between Morocco’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and the renowned Arts et Métiers institutions in France, is now recognized as a public higher education establishment operated by a private foundation. This hybrid model combines academic excellence with a strong emphasis on research and entrepreneurship, reflecting the successful framework of the eight Arts et Métiers campuses in France.
With this recognition, the Rabat campus is authorized to offer programs and confer degrees that are equivalent to those awarded in France. The institution provides a range of programs, including the prestigious Programme Grande École (PGE), a Bachelor of Technologies for the Industry of the Future, and a professional bachelor’s degree. All courses are delivered at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) campus in Rabat.
The official recognition is expected to fuel further growth and development at the campus, creating new opportunities for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs in Morocco.
In addition, earlier this year, it was announced that students at the Rabat campus can now obtain dual engineering degrees. The PGE, which was previously only available in France, has been approved for the Rabat campus following a successful audit in January 2024.
The Arts et Métiers Campus in Rabat, founded in September 2023, was designed to be a hub for cultivating young talent and fostering research and innovation. This recognition solidifies its role as a key player in Morocco’s higher education landscape.
