A total of ten outstanding Hawaiʻi students have been honored as recipients of the prestigious 2024 Bayer Hawaiʻi Life Sciences Scholarship. The recipients, hailing from various high schools across the state, represent a diverse array of talent and dedication to the field of life sciences.

This esteemed scholarship, open to graduating seniors from all high schools in Hawaiʻi, supports students pursuing disciplines related to the life sciences at accredited colleges or universities. With a commitment to fostering excellence in scientific education, the scholarship program has awarded over $175,000 to deserving students in Hawaiʻi.
Alan Takemoto, representing Bayer Hawaiʻi Community Affairs, emphasized the significance of investing in the education of young minds, stating, “At Bayer, we believe that investing in young people’s education is crucial for the future of science and more importantly, the future of our communities.
