Maverick Payments has announced its integration with the Visa Acceptance Platform, aiming to enhance authorization rates, reduce fraud, and minimize friction in payment processing. This integration, scheduled to launch in the third quarter, will introduce several capabilities to the Maverick Dashboard, a sales enablement solution utilized by independent sales organizations (ISOs) and independent software vendors (ISVs).
In a press release issued on Monday (June 10), Maverick Payments outlined the benefits of this direct connection to VisaNet through Visa Acceptance Solutions. According to Ben Griefer, Chief Operating Officer at Maverick Payments, this integration offers significant technological advantages to customers, including enhanced token management, fraud prevention, and optimization of acceptance rates. Griefer emphasized that the collaboration with Visa will drive profitability for merchants by leveraging Visa’s secure and scalable infrastructure through Maverick’s extensive distribution network.
The integration of the Visa Acceptance Platform with the Maverick Dashboard enables sales enablement platforms to monetize payments within a scalable, white-label environment. Alongside the direct connection to VisaNet, this integration grants Maverick resellers and merchants access to various solutions available via the Visa Acceptance platform, such as network tokens, 3D Secure, fraud prevention, machine learning (ML) acceptance enhancements, Account Updater, and push-to-card functionalities.
These new capabilities complement Maverick Payments’ existing range of payment products and services, as well as integrations with shopping carts and other third-party systems, offering a comprehensive solution for sales organizations and merchants.
White-labeling payment solutions has emerged as a strategic approach for streamlining operations and enhancing profitability. Maverick Payments aims to empower partners by handling the technological infrastructure while allowing them to focus on sales efforts. According to Justin Downey, Vice President of Product at Maverick, businesses that prioritize convenient payment methods and a streamlined checkout experience are poised for long-term success.
