Immigration authorities in Indonesia have announced the introduction of a new Transitional Stay Permit, commonly referred to as a Bridging Visa. This initiative aims to streamline the visa transition process for foreign nationals residing in the country. The Bridging Visa serves as a temporary permit, allowing foreigners to stay in Indonesia between the expiration of their previous visa and the issuance of a new one.
The Bridging Visa will be valid for 60 days and will be rendered invalid if the holder leaves Indonesia during this period. Although the visa was slated for implementation earlier this month, it is currently not available in the immigration system.
