The Benton Franklin Fair & Horse Heaven Round-Up has announced the recipients of its 2024 scholarships, continuing its tradition of supporting the educational aspirations of local youth.
A total of $10,000 in scholarships has been awarded to deserving individuals in the community. Among the recipients, Anna Geddes, Adryen Valdez, and Talyn Sandifer have each been granted a $2,500 scholarship to pursue their higher education goals, whether in college or trade school. These students have demonstrated outstanding commitment to both their academic pursuits and extracurricular activities, reflecting the values upheld by the Fair.
In addition, Benton Franklin Fair Queen Lexi Hagins will receive a $2,500 scholarship in recognition of her exemplary service as the ambassador of the Fair. Throughout her tenure, Hagins has traveled extensively across the Northwest, promoting the Fair and Rodeo with enthusiasm and dedication.
With this year’s scholarships, the Fair’s commitment to fostering the education and success of young people in the community remains steadfast. Over the past two decades, the Fair has provided a total of $97,060 in scholarships, underscoring its enduring dedication to supporting the educational endeavors of local youth.
