St. John Neumann Regional Academy proudly announces that senior Lizzie Weller has been bestowed with the esteemed Mount Aloysius College Valedictorian/Salutatorian Award, a distinguished honor recognized by the Mother Frances Warde Foundress Fellowship scholarship.
This highly competitive scholarship is reserved for outstanding high school seniors embarking on their collegiate journey as first-time, full-time freshmen, who have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess by attaining the coveted titles of Valedictorian or Salutatorian within their graduating class, as revealed in a press release heralding the accolade.
The scholarship, which encompasses full tuition coverage, is renewable annually, contingent upon the recipient’s maintenance of a minimum 3.3 GPA and successful completion of 30 or more credits each academic year, as stipulated in the release.
Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and commit to residential student status throughout their academic tenure.
In order to qualify, Weller underwent a rigorous selection process, which included meeting the criteria of class valedictorian/salutatorian status, achieving a commendable score of 1280 on the SAT or 26 on the ACT, and maintaining a stellar 3.5 GPA.
