Ielts requirements for undergraduate courses: Generally speaking, the total score of undergraduate courses is 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0 for each course. The following are the IELTS requirements for some courses (taught Masters) :
Academic Requirements Undergraduate: A-Levels (AAB-ABB) or A preparatory programme. International students may undertake a postgraduate programme [28] at the Centre for International Studies at the University of Surrey prior to their undergraduate studies:
Have a four-year undergraduate degree with a 2.1 or 2.2 level, depending on your major (2.1 is equivalent to an average score of 80%-85%;
ISC Surrey ISC (University of Surrey International Study Centre) mainly offers pre-Surrey courses, providing the language and professional training necessary for the study of a university degree programme.
Located in the heart of the university campus, it is equipped with purpose-built brand new facilities (Building 14 in the campus map).
The centre is also close to the International Student Office and close to all university facilities such as the library, student union and on-campus student accommodation.
Pre-undergraduate Programme Students who successfully complete the pre-undergraduate programme are eligible for admission to a relevant undergraduate degree programme at the University of Surrey.
In addition, students enrolled in the undergraduate preparatory program may also receive conditional offers of admission from the university.
Pre-undergraduate courses in Engineering and Physical Sciences — can be promoted to the first year of undergraduate or combined master’s degree programs in engineering majors, aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, Biomedical engineering, chemical and biological systems engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, electronics and electrical engineering, etc.
Business, economics, law and social sciences direction – can be promoted to business class, accounting and finance, commercial and retail management, business management and marketing, economics, digital media art, English literature, law, film and video production technology, the international tourism management, psychology, music, dance, and many other undergraduate or even read degree courses freshman year to recognize.
Life Science — Can be promoted to the first year of undergraduate or combined degree programs in Life science, Biochemistry, Biomedical science, Biomedical and Data Science, Biomedical and Electronic Engineering, biotechnology, Chemistry, Medical chemistry, microbiology, Nutrition, Nutrition and Food Science, etc.

Requirements for admission to this pre-admission program include: Having a good high school record: completed sophomore year with a 75% average (5 subjects including major subjects);
¡¤ Completed senior three with an average score of 70% (4 subjects, including major subjects);
Or equivalent academic Level (e.g. A-level) English requires A total score of 5.5 in UKVI Academic IELTS ** (not less than 5.0 in each category).
If your English language does not meet the requirements for direct entry, you may choose to add an ELP English Language Preparation course.
Age Requirement 17 years of age or above Entry Time January and September of each year The Pre-Masters Programme at the International Study Centre, University of Surrey The Pre-Masters Programme at the International Study Centre is an intensive one-semester or two-semester course covering academic subjects, study skills and English language preparation.
This course will introduce a wide-ranging and student-centred teaching style to UK higher education in preparation for a master’s degree course in a chosen subject area.
You will also be able to improve your academic English language skills, critical thinking skills and academic literature reading skills in English, research skills and other skills related to master’s study.
Major: Management, Finance and Economics;
Major in engineering;
Health sciences and medical specialties.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (4-year university) with a score of at least 60%;
A 4-year undergraduate program with a graduation certificate and a score of 70%;
Vocational college diploma (3 years) with an average of 70% or above (including internship).
Age requirement: You must be at least 20 years of age at the time of admission to the International Learning Centre. School Facilities The school has a student hall and many other facilities, such as recreation, sports, arts and welfare facilities.
With 1,600 members, the Student union is one of the largest in the UK.
The venue features five high street style bars and five food markets.
The main site of the Student Union also hosts weekly fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and themed club activities in the evenings.
The George Edward Library houses more than 400,000 volumes.
It has more than 100 computer workstations for readers and more than 900 seats.
In January 2000, the Assistive Technology Center on the first floor of the museum opened to readers.
The center’s workstations cater to specific needs, such as mental mapping programs or spell-checking services for struggling readers.
The school’s sports and leisure activities take place in two separate places.
The first is the campus sports center, which has two squash courts, a climbing arena and a fully equipped fitness center.
The other is the University Sports Center, where the university’s sports events are held.
The Radar Sports Centre has five squash courts, nine all-weather tennis courts and a floodlit artificial turf stadium.
Dormitory Facilities All college students’ bedrooms are equipped with free broadband with fast and unlimited Internet speeds.
Dormitory kitchens are equipped with kitchenware and refrigerators, and students can also bring their own cooking utensils or cutlery.
Students who choose university dormitory need to bring their own sheets and covers.

There are more than 4,600 rooms in 10 “courtyards” (student apartments).

The school also provides specially adapted rooms for students with physical disabilities and other special needs.
International students who request accommodation before the application deadline will be assured that they will be accommodated during the normal academic year.
Rooms range from A to E, depending on price and amenities.
The school also offers a limited number of single-sex dormitories.
Class A: “Class A” rooms are split-level shared rooms.
There are 389 rooms with facilities such as broadband Internet, telephone and property safe.
Class B: “Class B” rooms are basic single rooms on the Guildford Campus and Hazelnut Farm Campus.
All 412 rooms are fitted with washbasins and have been refurbished with new furniture and carpets.
Class C: A “Class C” room is a standard single room with a sink.
There are 1,424 such rooms in the six compounds.
Class D: “Class D rooms” are suites in modern apartments located in Territory Park and on campus.
All 982 rooms on campus and 1,319 rooms in Territorial Park are suites with bathrooms.
Class E: “Class E rooms” are superior suites.
Class E rooms are 1.5 times the size of Class D rooms.
It is ideal for students who have a lot of things and want more space for study and rest.
There are 27 rooms on campus and 38 rooms in Territorial Park.
