MAX – Shelsey Brandvold, a recent graduate of Max High School, has been honored with a $250 scholarship from the Minot Area Community Foundation’s Brooke Nicole Schroeder Scholarship Fund. The scholarship presentation took place with the participation of Staci Kenney from the Minot Area Community Foundation and Duane Schroeder.
Established in 2018, the Brooke Nicole Schroeder Scholarship Endowment Fund aims to support deserving students from Max High School. Scholarship applicants undergo a rigorous evaluation process, which includes assessment of their participation in school activities, involvement in community and charitable organizations, as well as academic achievements.
Brooke Schroeder, in whose memory the scholarship fund was created, was a dedicated individual who actively engaged in various extracurricular activities during her time at Max High School. Her contributions ranged from participation in FFA, drama, band, dance, to sports.
The awarding of the scholarship to Shelsey Brandvold underscores the commitment of the Minot Area Community Foundation to empower and support the educational aspirations of local students.
