1. Screenwriting Major The graduate Screenwriting program at New York University is a 2-year full-time program offering screenwriting for students with certain writing ability and academic performance.
Film and television script writing and television writing course.
All of our faculty are leading figures and professionals in their fields.
Students will take all courses and choose at least one medium for future research.
2. ITP is a two-year full-time graduate program with a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree.
ITP is equipped with a state-of-the-art media production center that is part of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Students have access to a variety of digital production equipment, including Mac and PC multimedia workstations, digital audio.
Video and video MIDI workstations with the latest software.

Include plot and characters, but do not need to describe voiceovers, dialogue or music.

Three letters of recommendation.
Undergraduate and graduate transcripts and letters of recommendation will be considered for admission.
The portfolio (non-refundable) is divided into three sections: (1) Cover: name (first name, first name), date of birth, program and campus (graduate and New York), major (film, theatre or television), type of work (TV script, script, film script), mailing address and contact information.
(2) Creative submission: Fill in the form to confirm and describe the submitted work during online application.
(3) Portfolio writing: Please strictly comply with the following requirements, otherwise it will not be considered.
Screenwriting and Screenwriting: Submit a complete and well-crafted work, all produced in the correct format (final manuscript is recommended if you are not familiar with theatrical structure).
Must include a script produced for stage or screen, up to 50 pages.
Additional entries may be submitted up to the limit.
Screenplay writing 90 pages, film and television script writing 120 pages.
Writing for Television: Submit a complete and exquisite work, all produced in the correct format (final draft is recommended if you are not familiar with dramatic structure), up to 50 pages.
Include at least one sales script (specscript), navigation script (pilotscript).
The script cannot be the current script, but it should at least be the most recent.
These two plays can be a half-hour or an hour standard.
Two and a half hours, no more than 33 pages for a standard script, no more than 48 pages for an hour.
All Materials: Do not collect DVDS or CDS with your work, please state your full name on all pages of your work.
The submission should be entirely a matter for the applicant, taking into account non-common content.
Please submit copies and electronic versions of your portfolio.
¡¤ Telecommunications Design majors can choose whether to submit a portfolio considering the diversity of applicants’ backgrounds.
Portfolio materials do not require professional quality, even for interactive media projects.
Applicants are encouraged to submit works that reflect their interests or experience, and admissions decisions are not based on portfolio submissions.

Talk about what are the most engaging games and how you feel about your impact in this space.
(4) Critical analysis of a game: no more than 1 page in pdf format.
There’s no need to explain. Hospitals are looking for perspective.
(5) One or two projects: This could be a digital game, a non-digital game, a game-related website, a visual design, an article about a game, or other creative work.
Include a one-page design statement, in pdf format, that summarizes the project goals, individual contributions (if working as a team), and what you learned from it.
Please list all documents related to the project at the end.
Each project should submit a maximum of 10 images, and the video project should not exceed 10 minutes.
Note that at least one form of the material for all projects is not plain text or sound.
Submit a maximum of two projects, each with a separate presentation.
