Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) is elated to reveal the distinguished recipients of the third round of the Women’s Leadership Program scholarship.
Twenty-five outstanding women hailing from northern NSW have been bestowed with scholarships to partake in this transformative program commencing on May 13, 2024.
The initiative was meticulously crafted to empower female leaders within the football community, equipping them with the requisite education and support to exert profound positive influences across all echelons of the sport.
The Women’s Leadership Program is slated to offer a comprehensive blend of online and face-to-face learning experiences, coupled with networking opportunities, tailored to both aspiring and seasoned female leaders within football.
Helen Moseley, the Northern NSW Football Legacy Development Officer, expressed her anticipation for the upcoming program and extended heartfelt congratulations to all scholarship recipients.
“In 2023, NNSWF launched the inaugural Women’s Leadership Program, which garnered immense success. Now, as we gear up for our third iteration starting this May, we are brimming with excitement,” Moseley remarked.
“Following a momentous year for women’s football, marked by the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023ᵀᴹ, we are eager to provide the scholarship recipients with the platform to acquire invaluable skills, forge connections with fellow women in the industry, and catalyze a positive transformation in the trajectory of football’s future.”
