If the search proves fruitless and a new passport is required, you must go to the Chinese Consulate in Thailand with the relevant report issued by the police.
It would be nice to have a photo of the missing passport, which can also serve as proof of Chinese citizenship.
Method 1: Apply for a new passport in the local area. The issuing time is 15 working days from the date of accepting the application, and the waiting time is longer.
