Tulane University ranked 42nd in the 2022USNews comprehensive ranking of American universities. It is a famous private research university with a long history in the United States. It is a member of AAU (62 research universities in North America, including 60 in the United States and 2 in Canada).
USNEWS ranked it 12th in its 2013 Most Improved Colleges report.
Tulane University offers education and research in a wide range of specialty areas. In recent years, Tulane University has become better known for its business and medical schools.
Its business school has the only on-campus Energy Equity Trading Center in the US, and its MBA in Finance was ranked the 10th best finance study programme in the world by the Financial Times in 2008.
The School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine has the nation’s oldest public health program and the only school of Tropical medicine in the country.
2. Tulane University has three application methods: EA, ED and RD. The deadline is November 15th, November 1st and January 15th, respectively.
The Artman project application deadline is March 15.
TOEFL and IELTS have no single requirement.
SAT Reading /ACT English can replace TOEFL/IELTS to meet the school’s language requirements. The required score is 600 or above in SAT reading or 27 or above in ACT English.
SAT/ACT transcript: voluntary submission, no absolute requirement. It is recommended to submit this material if Merit based scholarship is considered.
TOEFL/IELTS Transcript: Scores above 600 on SAT reading or above 27 on ACT English are not required;
Interview: Voluntary interview is not an absolute requirement. Chinese applicants can participate in the interview through the third party organization InitialView.
Certificate of Finances: Certificate of deposit and Certification of Finances Form must be submitted to the school during application.

Tulane University requires TOEFL/IELTS scores to be submitted, but the graduate school does not set a minimum score requirement, which varies from program to program. tops teacher understands that the total score of TOEFL/IELTS should be no less than 100 and the total score of IELTS should be no less than 7.0.
Colleges of Arts and Technology generally require a TOEFL total score of at least 80 and IELTS total score of at least 6.5. For some programs of other schools, TOEFL total score of at least 90/95 and IELTS total score of at least 7.0 are required. Degree requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year regular university;
GPA Requirements: The Graduate School of Tulane University does not have a uniform minimum undergraduate GPA requirement, but usually admitted students have a GPA of 3.2 or above.
American graduate programs usually require an undergraduate GPA, especially a GPA3.0 or above in the last two years of undergraduate study;
GRE/GMAT Requirements: Most graduate programs require GRE scores (except for design graduate programs), business school graduate programs usually require GMAT scores, but also the GRE scores, medical school MD programs require MCAT scores;
Application time: Most programs only accept applications for fall semester, and the deadline is usually from early November to early January. Some master programs also accept applications for spring or summer semester, and the deadline is usually from early February to early April, or even early May.
