1. The Australian Progress Scholarship is administered by the Australian Government and the Australian Department of Education and Training.

2. Analysis of Endeavour Scholarship Applications for Research Scholars: Applicants may apply for short-term or post-doctoral studies of 4-6 months.
Requirements: Language proficiency must be at academic level (IELTS6, 5), with a TOFEL score of not less than 6 or equivalent;
Complete undergraduate studies and obtain a degree;
Applicants are required to provide a letter of offer from an Australian university or institution when applying for the scholarship.
3. Australian Development Scholarships Australian Development Scholarships Development Scholarships (AU-SAID) are jointly proposed and formulated by the Australian Agency for International Development and the Ministry of Foreign Economic and Trade Cooperation of China.
Australian Development Scholarship applicants cover undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, higher vocational and other learning experiences.
Currently, individual applications are not accepted for the Australian Development Scholarships. Applicants need to contact the Ministry of Foreign Trade or local Foreign Trade Commission in advance.
Scholarship applicants must return to China to work for two years after completing their studies and contribute to the country’s economic and social development.
The Australian Development Scholarship covers: all tuition fees, return airfare, living allowance, placement allowance, overseas student health insurance and basic medical expenses.
The Australian Leadership Scholarship (ALA) is a new regional scholarship program for potential leaders in the Asia Pacific region.
Application requirements: Tertiary education (at least an Australian Bachelor’s degree);
Applicant has leadership ability and influence in China and Asia Pacific region;
After successful completion of their studies, they must return to their home countries to work.
2. Applications for Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships usually open in April and close at the end of June.
The results will be announced at the end of the year.
Applicants for Endeavour Scholarships must have been accepted into a Masters or doctoral programme at an Australian university and be able to provide an official letter of offer from the university.
However, conditional offers of admission may be provided when applying for the scholarship.
Australia Awards Scholarships and Fellowships cover students studying for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees on vocational education and training courses at Australian universities and higher vocational and technical colleges (TAFE).
Application requirements: the study program must be related to the priority development area of the host country;
Full-time undergraduate (including pre-graduate) or postgraduate studies at an Australian research institution.
4. International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) are available for approximately 330 students each year. The total amount of IPRS scholarships is 20 million Australian dollars (approximately 120 million RMB).
Students can contact their universities directly to apply. Australian universities will decide the selection process themselves.
As the admission period of Australian universities is in February and July, it is important to prepare the materials for scholarship application and submit them to the university between August and October of the previous year. Most universities will send the confirmation letter before February of the following year.
As in other popular countries, Australian universities will focus on GPA and preparatory grades of scholarship applicants. Some universities may allow a delay in the submission of IELTS results.
