1. Orange Tulip Scholarship This scholarship program was officially established in September 2008, aiming to create opportunities for outstanding Chinese students to study in the Netherlands.
Nuffic Neso China has worked closely with the Embassy of the Netherlands in China during the establishment of this scholarship program, which is also supported by many universities and enterprises in the Netherlands.
A total of 23 universities in the Netherlands are participating in this scholarship program, and it is expected that more than 60 Chinese students will receive half or full scholarship. Among them, there are more than 17 undergraduate programs and more than 47 master programs.
The total value of the scholarships is more than 700,000 euros, or nearly 6 million yuan.
In terms of subject distribution, all majors are basically covered.
All programs of this scholarship will only be available to students who enroll in the fall semester, and will not be available for spring semester applicants.
The deadline for applications to universities in the Netherlands is from February to May each year.
2. Holland Scholarship This scholarship is jointly initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Technology of the Netherlands, as well as those research-based universities and scientific universities. It provides financial support for overseas students from countries outside Europe to pursue undergraduate or master programs in the Netherlands.
Each winner will receive 5,000 euros, or about 40,000 yuan, for the first year of study in the Netherlands.
The scholarship is not a full scholarship and can only be awarded once per person.
3. China-netherlands Scholarship This scholarship is also known as the Dutch Exchange scholarship.
This scholarship is aimed at outstanding Chinese students who are studying for their undergraduate or master’s degree in the Netherlands.
Every year, the Ministry of Education of China and the three departments of teaching in the Netherlands offer 25 scholarships to those who are interested in studying in the Netherlands.
