NEW DELHI: The University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global) has unveiled an online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program tailored for professionals in India. Interested candidates can submit their applications until January 29 through the official website, with the program scheduled to commence on February 19.
Applicants for the program must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 (equivalent to more than 45%) or possess a valid master’s degree. Additionally, candidates must be citizens and residents of India. To successfully complete the 18-month online MBA program, students are required to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3 (equivalent to an overall grade of B) or higher.
Program Fee Structure:
Students enrolling in the program will be subject to a fee of Rs 3,32,000, excluding goods and services tax. This fee can be paid in five installments, with the initial payment of Rs 16,600 due during the application process. As part of the application requirements, candidates must upload color-scanned copies of their degree certificate, as well as consolidated marks transcripts for Class 10, 12, and the bachelor’s degree. Additionally, candidates need to submit the first two pages of a passport, Aadhar card, or PAN card.
Successful candidates completing the online MBA program will be granted alumni status at UMass Global. According to the Wheebox India Skills Report 2023, the MBA is anticipated to be one of the most sought-after degrees in 2023, with 60.1 percent of the most employable talent. The report emphasizes India’s position among the top 10 nations actively pursuing MBA and equivalent programs, highlighting the global significance of India’s contributions to business education.
Furthermore, the report indicates that MBA graduates earn 77% more than their counterparts with only a bachelor’s degree, as per the Graduate Management Admission Council’s Corporate Recruiters Survey.
