The University of Essex has launched the Academic Excellence International Master’s Scholarship for Indian students. Scholarships of up to £3000 are available for Indian students wishing to enrol for the January 2024 intake. The scholarship is awarded as a partial tuition fee waiver.
This scholarship is open to Indian students from Tier 2 universities who have completed their undergraduate degree either overseas or in the UK and are self-funding their postgraduate studies.
The closing date for applications is 30 November. Applicants will be automatically considered on submission of a full application for relevant courses. The University will assess applicants’ eligibility on the basis of academic transcripts and certificates submitted with their application for a place at Essex.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the applicant’s academic record. Applicants are required to submit a detailed statement of purpose, together with academic or employment references and valid English language test results. Students who have achieved a minimum of 60 per cent or CGPA 6.5/10 or CGPA 2.6/4 are also eligible for the scholarship.
