Tripoli-based Libyan Prime Minister and Acting Foreign Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Sunday.
During the meeting, several files were discussed that were agreed upon during Aldabaiba’s previous meeting with Turkish President Erdogan, including the return of Turkish Airlines flights to Libya, addressing the problems of Libyans residing in Turkey, and the cancellation of visas for citizens of both countries.
The meeting also discussed the reconstruction file in Derna and neighbouring municipalities and, according to the Libyan government, Fidan expressed Turkey’s willingness to contribute and participate in this file.
